What do you get when you combine style and talent at the ongoing Tusker Nexters competition? You get an epic show!
Tusker Nexters has ensured style is not left behind as much as talent is the main focus. It’s a no-brainer that for a performance to leave a lasting impression, the performer’s whole look goes a long way to making it a legendary stage performance.
The Tusker Nexters remaining participants recently had a photo shoot by one of the best in the photography game, Tintseh. The color taking center stage in the shoot was Yellow. Such a stunning background canvas allowing each nexter to shine with their looks and individualism.
TK Lyon:
Is Tye & Dye making a comeback because this look is 100% in the running for top looks we are looking for and trying out as soon as we finish this style piece. Can we also point out how elevated this look is when paired with the beret and the black boots?
Lexxie:
First off, the black mini and bomber jacket with yellow crop top look is very Gen-Z and we are here for it! Grunge & punk brought to you by those perfect boots definitely make her stage-ready.
Angachi, Khaligraph and Bakhita:
For this shoot, the nexters were joined by one of the Tusker Nexters mentors, Khaligraph Jones. We are getting a bit of a safari vibe here with the safari hat and animal print shirt, but our girl here is bringing punk with her overall and neon lip color.
Veryl Mkali Wao:
Posh spice who dis! She is exuding extra classy with the oversize fur coat, bandage dress, and thigh-high boots.
Kamwana:
The animal print shirt goes perfectly with the colors in this shoot and the retro glasses are the sleek touch needed for this look.
Veryl, Mejja and Kamwana:
Mejja na tumbler yake had to make an appearance. He is one of the Tusker Nexters mentors working with the participants. His signature flannel shirt and T-shirt combo and kicks are true to his stage look.
The Nexters Squad:
Each of these nexters brought out their individual style to this shoot. Can we just talk about the sunnies’ game going on here? From The feline updated cat-eye on the suited up nexter, the hexagonal style sunnies on the babe with the zebra-striped boots, the rounded edge old Hollywood look sunglasses by our sassy nexter in the black ensemble to the timeless design sunnies on our male nexter, the group definitely have their sunnies looks down to the tee.
Zaituni:
Sometimes, you have to remind them you mean business. The oversize blazer with matching high waist wide leg pants plus platform heels complete this look.
Angachi:
If the tusker bottle was not the muse for this entire shoot and this particular look-peep the brown, yellow, black, and white -then we are losing our style eye. (can never be us! Style is literally in our name.)
