TIME TO SEAS THE DAY: The Cruise and Travel Planners Launch

“The cure for anything is saltwater- sweat, tears, or the sea” – Isak Dinesen

There is a vintage, which comes with age and experience. For 20 years, the Holiday Bazaar has been the leading specialist of providing tailor-made bespoke holidays with a 99.9% satisfaction guaranteed and dedication to providing a personal, professional and specialist service. On July 29th, The Holiday Bazaar announced the launch of Cruise and Travel planners, the first fully-fledged Cruise travel agency presenting a diverse range of destinations targeting the Kenyan market. The launch took place at the Sarit Centre, next to the Cruise and Travel planner’s office.

Most of us can loosely be referred to as African timers. It is not uncommon to hear meetings or events in Kenya being set about an hour or half before the actual commencing time so as to allow attendees to arrive late but still be early enough. This was not the case at the Cruise and Travel event; we were amazed by the punctuality and time consciousness that was exhibited by all present. So this just goes to show, if you are planning for your dream cruise trip and you are late, the ship will sail. Learn from our mistakes as we inform you to keep time when planning for your cruise.

Color is great, but the black and white themed ambience at the launch stood out with much elegance. The guests were in formal attire and seemed to agree with the saying by J.O’Rourke that “never wear anything that panics the cat”.

Ever heard that cruise calories don’t count? Well, we could not have enough of the mini pizzas which were very delectable, having said that, further snacks include; groundnuts, samosa, and banana crisps accompanied by either a soft drink, red or white wine because lets face it, is a meal even a meal without wine?

Some of the most popular destinations that Kenyans can visit include: Mediterranean, Caribbean and an increasing trend towards sailing around the Indian Ocean to exotic islands such as Seychelles and Mauritius.  Now doesn’t that sound like a dream? Imagine you cruising freely and living your best life all thanks to Cruise and Travel. We at Style Nerds have definitely put it on our bucket list.

The event ended successfully at 8:00PM and guests were rewarded a gift hamper for their presence as they left. We always love attending events that give goodies at the end. How Kenyan of us. The whole event was a vibe, looking forward to the good vibes that happen on the tides. Until further notice, LETS GET SHIP FACED with Cruise and Travel Planners.
