TECNO taught us well when they merged tech with art. In the same spirit, we had Itikadi Fashion House use the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition during a shoot at Shop Zetu Studios and everyone present had a go at it. Here’s what they had to say about the phone…
Visual perspective
We loved the changing color cover; it was an excellent visual appeal.
The weight
We liked the weight too. Not many people mention this but holding a phone for long when shooting content can get quite tiring. Check on your friends who shoot content with heavy phones; they’re not ok?!
It’s All In The Details
The attention to detail is top-notch. Has anyone else noticed the numbers around the top lens? It mimics a real professional camera lens, how cool is that!
Usability
While I was using the camera and the gallery, there was no lag which was a tech-culture shock. I never knew such ease when shooting content, I literally wanted to throw away my own phone.
The swiping to go back took a bit of getting used to since other phones have a back button.
The quality of the pictures was excellent, especially the AI cam part which did a great job in regards to ‘reading the scene’ and adjusting the settings automatically to shoot an image. It makes it easy to take good pics if editing is not your strong suit.
The video quality was exceptional. The stabilizer feature for videos made short videos an easy task especially when you are holding it by hand and don’t have a gimble.
The Battery
I think this was another tech shock for me. When I connected it to charge, it went from 0 to 21% within the first ten minutes. After a little over an hour, it had fully charged. With a 5000 MAH battery, this is quite fast. It is almost illegal how fast it charges.
Model’s take: The selfie quality is awesome plus the sunlight drawing technology was a hit for them.
In conclusion, Stylenerdsjournal asked Itikadi Fashion house if the Mondrian is worth the buy. The designer had this to say: “Yes, it is. I do wish it had AMOLED display instead of an LCD one but the full HD+ resolution (2,460 × 1,080 pixel) makes up for that . Other than that, it is definitely worth it, especially for creators who find editing a task”
