It’s never too early in the year to party and KBL has announced the return of the biggest Easter festival in the country, Tusker Fest.

The Party Don’t Stop!
According to reliable resources- KBL themselves- it’s going to be a month-long series of parties. Consumers will experience the ultimate Kenyan cultural extravaganza – Great musical performances, unique Kenyan food, and A-list Kenyan DJs and upcoming artistes among them graduates of Tusker’s talent platform, Tusker Nexters.

To kick this off, we had the pleasure of attending the official launch of the Tusker Fest and it was a blast!
Here’s a recap of our experience:
The 15-minute set performances by Wakadinali, the new Tusker Fest ambassadors, were an exhilarating experience. They had dancers and hype men which was quite exciting. We can’t stop replaying it in our minds. They definitely activated a core memory there.
The EABL staff had impeccable service, checking in on us to ensure we were having a great time. The food and drinks were chef’s kiss! One of us actually tried Tusker lite for the first time and she loved it. They also had two tusker cocktails that really hit the spot! Who knew that beer + orange juice +ginger = taste buds heaven!

The music by DJ Hypnotiq was amazing of course and the MC of the day really got us interacting with the questions and games, which was cool and lively, definitely a crowd favourite.
EABL management took to the podium to say a few words. They gave us a brief of the events that will be rolling out with the Tusker Fest campaign as well as introducing the new brand ambassadors, Wakadinali, which was a partnership they were proud of being that they are a young and dynamic group which was exactly what they were looking for.” They mirror the best qualities of our target audience (the Nexters). Young, vibrant, unapologetic, artistic Kenyans taking on the world by storm,” said Head of Beer, Joanne Looby. “Tusker has always been a brand that gives Kenyan artists a platform to shine. Tusker Fest is no different. Our flagship brand, Tusker, will continue to champion the local music industry as we hold the proverbial hand of the bright, bold spirit of Kenya through our budding musical talent and we invite all of you to come and support us.” added Loob on the brand’s commitment to local talent.

Back to the festival…
The Easter showcase is Tusker’s first major event of the year following the brand’s recent centenary celebration, as it marked 100 years of existence throughout 2022.
The Tusker Fest will kick off in Kisumu on the 1st of April with subsequent stops in Meru, Eldoret, Nairobi and Mombasa on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of April respectively.
